How we help

Remembering Heroes is committed to helping our heroes and their families with programs, events, donations, and support. We either directly work with them to assist them or communicate them with third parties to make sure their needs are covered.

We are also committed to promoting advocacy, sharing information, and referrals as we continue to foster community awareness of veterans, First Responders, and Gold Star Families and Community issues.

VET CONNECTIONS AND PATRIOT COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

Connecting Heroes with goods and services provided to them through the community and local government agencies. Through Remembering Heroes, programs and events are available for:

• Notifications of community events through our website
• Invisible Wounds Memorial (Memorial Brick Program)
• Heroes Memorial Park Compost

Make a real and positive impact on our Heroes

patriot community partnerships

Remembering Heroes is proud to partner with community organizations that share our dedication to serving those who serve this Nation.

Through the collaborative efforts of enthusiastic partner agencies, organizations, and trusted community members, the spirit of goodwill paves the way for improved services, support, and community outreach to help build a stronger veteran’s presence in the community.

quilt of honor

The mission of the Quilt of Honor program is to present a patriotic quilt to Veterans, First Responders, Gold Star Families, and local Community Heroes. The quilts are presented in honor of their service and sacrifice.

VQOH program is set up specifically to present “Quilt of Honor” to graduating Veterans who complete the Veteran’s Court Program.

The Network and enthusiasm of quilters are only surpassed by their love and appreciation for those who serve or have served our country. Letters and stories of gratitude for the quilts energize their passion for creating more of these beautiful quilts for our Heroes.

The network of quilting groups continues to expand, impacting the lives of American Heroes.
